To enhance the retiree's mental health such as recovery from mental fatigue and reduced stress from the withdrawal from one's active working life.
Issues for Retiree
Depression which often caused or made worse by the fact that people who were once active and now spend much of their time alone.
Objective
To design a retirement residence with the concept of vertical pocket neighborhood, with the settings where the dwellings gathered around a shared commons to keep themselves socially active.
